Great, thank you. We tried trough my legs this morning and I have to wait till she’s quite near.. otherwise she’s cheating ?
We will practice this the next 2 weeks.
Crossing fingers for greece and wishing a lot of fun!Another crazy balls with a few food throws..
I guess I have to practice “in between” and to praise her with more excitement.. ?
And we played with two toys in the evening:
We started “to my hand” with putting a spoon into a box, as she already knew this.
Inside it works really well, outside she is a bit distracted, but I think she did quite well and perhaps she will retrieve toys someday.. usually she likes to run away with them
I had a rare helper, so here are some restrains and a bit of tugging and chasing. Chasing without a helper is really hard, because she’s faster than me and I don’t want her to jump too much..

So we tried balls to food.. she drops the ball when she arrives at me. Don’t get her to drop them while moving or for another ball…

We still don’t have a release cue and I have the feeling the more she’s running the harder she holds the balls..March 22, 2022 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Sandra & Müüsli, Border Collie, 4,5 month old, Germany #18396And first try Jump Up:

Meanwhile we tried a few restrains to bowl. It went not so well, when one holds her at her harness and one is running with a toy she’s really pulling…
I managed it to really hide me:
