We also made a ball and food throwing session. I tried to apply your advice about running to the same ball and kicking it with my foot and I also used less valuable food than the first time, but I think he is still waiting for food all the time.
At first, I was waiting for him to come to me with the ball (as he previously did), but it didn’t happen, so then I settled just for him picking up the ball with his mouth, even if he dropped it right away, some meters before coming where I was.
      :'(

Hi! Today we made a food pocket toy chase and tug session, but I feel it was not so good as the last two normal-toy chase and tug we did on November 19 🙁
In some tuggings Stitch let the toy out, despite I wasn’t tugging so hard

Wow! thank you for all those comments ?
We made two playing sessions today trying to aply some of them!

My phone is not working well, and first video is broken again so second video is worst quality but at least no broken.

Hi, we tried to do the variation you suggested on previous comment: throw the ball in one direction and food in another, but we couldn’t play that way… ? I think food smelled a lot and he was all the time expecting me to throw food, first sniffing and then ignoring balls.

First session introducing no-pocket toy. I chose a big fluffy and long handled one, I think he really liked it, but we found the “in between” part, the most difficult one.
I feel that running away in other direction didn’t make me attractive enought, maybe hidden myself was more effective.
We also managed to use an exactly the same second toy, but at the first attempt he didn’t drop off the one he had, and we tugged with that one, without exchanging. By the second try, we could change between them, but not sure what was different? ?‍♀️

PS. Again video is broken for some seconds ? this time at 1:15, please, excuse me again for that ?

Hi! Today we made two short games:
                    throwing balls

and chasing and tugging with food pocket toy

Unfortunately at 1:00 this last video is broken, phone stopped recording and it reasumed some seconds later ?

I am wondering if should I use some cues while playing? for example “ready?” before starting o “that’s all” when we end.
Also any verbal cue to indicate if we are going to chase and tug or going after a ball or look for a static toy.
Ps. not on purpose, but sometimes I notice I use “ready?” as I use to do with my other dog, but nothing consistent.

Hi! Thank you! I will take all this into account for next chase/tug session.
We made our 5-balls throws first try.

I decided to pick up the balls already thrown because I thought Stitch could go for them and play even if they were static on the ground. Was that a wrong decision?
While endding the session, I stopped picking them up, and Stitch went for them, as susspected ?.
I’m not sure about how much should I move myself?
I also realized that I didn’t know how to properly end the game ?

I have read topic 2, and I wonder if shall we chase, tug and play in between games with different toys, or if we continue using food pocket toy by introducing those games into it?

Hi! We did a shorter leash session with slight tugging.

In some attempts I realized he didn’t bite the toy too hard, at 0:47 I tried to tug but he wasn’t biting strong enough ? later I managed to identify stronger bites and we could tug a bit.
I also noticed that on some occasions he uses his front feet, instead of his mouth, is this fine?

                              Hi, thank you!
We made a food pocket toy session, this time I tried to stay more still while moving the toy faster using a stick.

We made a new engagement session, this time we went to the agility training place.

Precious video wasn’t my intention to teach loose leash walking, sorry, I was trying to find new environments, and I started the game before arriving to the new place ?‍♀️ After reading your post I decided to went with Stitch to where I train agility with my other dog (he never goes there, so it was a new experience). In addition, Megan decided to show up on video, so lots of difficulties today, but taking all that into account I think he was such a good boy whole session. ?
